Meet the Team

James Murray

Head of Voice Over

James Murray is a ten year veteran of the industry. Starting his career off in the New York office of Abrams Artists Agency, James has steadily worked his way up to the now head of the department in the Los Angeles office. During his career, he has worked in all areas of the voiceover industry, including animation, commercials, interactive, promos, narrations and audiobooks. James has put people on television and animated features including such hits as Steven Universe, Powerpuff Girls, Family Guy, American Dad as well as various animated features.

Brittney Weiskopf

Voice Agent

Melanie Thomas

Voice Agent

A native Angeleno, Melanie Thomas studied Creative Writing at the University of Southern California, as well as in Florence, Italy.  After a business management position left her “beyond bored” (as she succinctly put it), Melanie decided it was time to transition into a faster-paced career: talent agenting.

Since becoming an agent, Melanie has steadily built a successful promo/trailer department in a division previously known more for its commercial and animation.  Despite her youthful appearance, Thomas’ managerial skills have changed the career of many a voice over artist for the better.

Sarah Drury

Department Assistant

Sarah joined the Abram’s team in Sept. 2018, after working as an On Camera Commercial Assistant at another agency. She is originally from Norfolk, VA and moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue a career as a writer. Prior to moving she worked at a small newspaper in Easton, MD for a year-and-a-half.

She studied Print and Online Journalism at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and did an internship for the online publication Altdaily over the summer of 2015.

Sarah has worked on creative writing in her free time since she was in elementary school. Other activities she enjoys in her free time include: watching horror films, working on her podcast Dreadful Dames, reading true crime novels, and obsessing over dinosaurs.
